Mr. Northington, joined MVP in 2001 and became a Partner in 2006. Mr. Northington has served on the boards of several MVP portfolio companies, including Air Medical Group Holdings, SupplyOne, Swiss Farms, Epilogue Systems, and Index Stock Imagery.
Mr. Northington's broad background includes industry and operating experience in retail/consumer and multi-unit business models, healthcare, aviation services, software, product marketing, and internet/media.
Before joining MVP, Mr. Northington was the Chief Operating Officer for ShyGenius, Inc., a knowledge management software company. Prior to ShyGenius, Mr. Northington was Vice President, Strategic Alliances and served as head of business development at a global sports media and technology company. Mr. Northington was also previously with Optum, Inc., a supply chain software company where he was the Director of Product Marketing. In that capacity, he was responsible for the strategic direction of Optum's software products and technology.
Mr. Northington received his B.A. degree from Davidson College, where he was a four year letterman on the men's soccer team. Mr. Northington also holds a private pilot certificate.
