Mr. Brown co-founded MVP in 1987.
Mr. Brown has been active in the private equity business for over twenty-five years and was instrumental in the establishment of the private equity/venture capital industry in the Philadelphia region.
Prior to establishing MVP, Mr. Brown was a principal in a merchant banking firm active in both private equity and investment banking. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen. Following Andersen, he joined join Buckeye Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of The Penn Central Corporation, as a financial analyst. After Buckeye, Mr. Brown practiced corporate tax law at the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia.
Mr. Brown is a graduate of Princeton University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania.
