SupplyOne Acquires Triad Packaging and Merit Container

October 8, 2008, SupplyOne, Inc. acquired the business of Triad Packaging based in Hickory, North Carolina and its operations in Greer, South Carolina, operating as Merit Container.
Triad Packaging, founded by Lou Wetmore in 1976, is a recognized leader in corrugated packaging and design in Western and Central North Carolina. In May, 2006 Triad Packaging acquired Merit Container, expanding its capabilities to customers in the greater South Carolina marketplace. Today, both companies are accomplished leaders, providing corrugated packaging solutions to a broad base of customers in the manufacturing and service industries.
Joining forces with SupplyOne in Rockwell, North Carolina, Triad Packaging and Merit Container will offer its customers the broadest range of packaging products and services available today in their respective markets. In addition to the most comprehensive corrugated converting and state-of-the-art design capabilities, our combined customer base will have full access to 4-color graphics, displays, and custom foam fabrication. SupplyOne Rockwell is also known for its unlimited offering of packaging supplies and equipment, plastic thermoformed products, pressure sensitive labels, fulfillment services, and its Packaging Management Program.
